The overall appearance of this off road vehicle is in excellent condition. Only 2% of all the Yukon’s in this generation were optioned with the rare 6.5L turbo diesel, hich is closely based on the Military Spec Hummer H1 Alpha’s engine. In addition with the rare engine selection, his Yukon was also optioned with GM’s Marking Option Package and off-road chassis equipment package.
Dripping in a brilliant Atlantic Blue metallic paint job, his Yukon is in great condition with no major imperfections to be found. All of the trim is in great condition and shows extremely well. The like new 20? Mickey Thompson Chrome wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash and the knobby off-road tires have plenty of tread remaining.
Inside, the grey cloth seats and door panels all look great with minor normal wear visible. Interior appears to be very original, ther than the listed modifications for the numerous accessories included on this Yukon. Carpet and floor mats mirror the excellent condition of the seats and compliment the cabin. All gauges are operational including the aftermarket Auto Meter A-pillar pod, hich displays boost pressure, ransmission temperature, nd exhaust temperature. Heater and air conditioning work and remain true to the factory condition. Vehicle also boasts two optima batteries, new A/C compressor, scort Radar detector custom installed and tinted windows.
What makes this GMC Yukon so special is the factory installed Detroit Diesel 6.5L turbo diesel engine and 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, hich is based off the Hummer H1 Alpha. Also a locking rear differential, DS 6? suspension lift kit with Fox 2.0 shocks, ellwig rear sway bar, oyo 35? Mud Terrain tires, nd 20? Mickey Thompson chrome “Big Rig” wheels complete the drive train of this well-built Yukon. A Rigid 50? light bar custom mounted above windshield, -FAB rear bumper guard with Rigid Dually LED lights, and Curt safari roof rack have all been added to enhance the off-road capability and appearance of this Yukon.
The Detroit Diesel has been tastefully modified with a new turbocharger and Heath Performance Torq-Master boost controller, nd sports new marine injectors, njection pump and glow plugs, &B cold air intake, new Power master high-torque starter increase the power threshold for this big diesel engine. Straight-thru exhaust with new high-flow crossover pipe gives this Yukon a very unique rumble and completes the exhaust. The transmission, hich is specifically for this diesel engine has a Mag-Hytec transmission pan with a cooler and rear differential cover.
